Air Conditioning System Maintenance – Say Goodbye to Odors and Hidden Dangers
Car air conditioning is used frequently, especially in summer and winter. If it is not maintained for a long time, it will not only produce unpleasant odors but also endanger health and affect cooling/heating effects. First of all, the air conditioning filter is the core. It is recommended to replace it every 6 months or 10,000 kilometers. Long-term non-replacement will accumulate dust and bacteria, which will drift with the wind when the air conditioning is turned on, and block the air ducts at the same time, reducing cooling efficiency. If you often drive in dusty or smoggy environments, the replacement cycle can be shortened. Secondly, before use in summer and after use in winter every year, the air conditioning system needs to be cleaned and disinfected, focusing on cleaning the evaporator and air ducts to remove bacteria and mold and say goodbye to odors. In addition, in daily use, you can turn off the air conditioning cooling 3-5 minutes before parking, keep the air blowing mode, and dry the moisture in the air ducts to reduce mold growth. When the vehicle is parked for a long time, it is recommended to turn on the air conditioning for 10 minutes every month to avoid compressor aging.
